How to enter a Swim Meet
It is best to enter ‘Target Meets’. Target meets are listed on the monthly calender. All available meets are listed on the Swimming WA website calendar (use link below.)
All Officials at a swim meet are qualified volunteers, so be nice to them.
All Timekeepers at a meet are parent volunteers. When you enter a meet, the Club may ask you to Timekeep.
There are two types of entries:
ONLINE and MANUAL.
To view the Swimming WA calendar and make online entries, click on the SWA icon:
First check the ‘Program of Events’ to see what you would like to enter and if there are qualifying times.
Check ‘Entry Procedure’ to find out if entries are online or manual. Almost all entries are now online.
You will need a credit card to make online entries. (You can also use a prepaid Visa/Mastercard from Australia Post, Coles or Woolworths.)
If it is Online, then go to ‘Entries Wizard’ enter the child’s name. You will be shown all the possible events that you can enter. Please note that the events marked “MC” are for disabled swimmers who have met strict criteria.
You will need to get a copy to the Club Registrar, (registrar@busseltonswimmingclub.com.au) with your entry fees by the ‘Close of entry’ date set by the Club on the monthly Training Schedule, which is at least 2 days before the due date listed on the SWA Calendar.
